The Phase 1 PlumeSentinel AI website is now live, providing a public-facing introduction to the project’s vision, architecture, and beneficiary audiences.
What’s new
The site includes:
- How It Works — three-layer architecture, satellite imagery, operational forecasts, independent validation, agentic AI orchestration, and decision communication
- Beneficiaries — emergency managers, public health officials, outdoor workers, vulnerable communities, and the research community
- About — project mission, lead institution (NSF NCAR / ACOM — National Science Foundation National Center for Atmospheric Research, Atmospheric Chemistry Observations and Modeling Laboratory), and related forecast resources
- Contact — project lead and code repository
What’s coming
Subsequent phases will add full subroutes per topic, image optimization, a real About page with team and partner details, a custom domain at plumesentinel.ai, and analytics.
